Teaneck, New Jersey, is an established community in Northern New Jersey. Teaneck is in North Jersey just West of the George Washington Bridge connecting New York City and New Jersey. For those looking for a Conservative Jewish education, there is Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County. Chabad of Teaneck has a pre-school as well as the Lubavitch Hebrew School in nearby Tennafly, NJ.
Orthodox high schools include Ma'ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls, Heichal HaTorah an all boys high school, and another Orthodox high school for boys Torah Academy of Bergen County.

There are plenty of community public parks such as Votee Park Playground, Milton A. Votee Park, Phelps Park, and the Overpeck Count Park with trails, athletic fields and more covering 805 acres with a lake in the middle. Additionally there are small parks with playground throughout the area.
And while Teaneck may not be Orlando, Nickelodeon Universe American Dream, is located just 20 minutes by car. Within the city there's Splash Pad, a water park located within Milton A. Votee Park. There are plenty of other small attraction parks throughout the area, as well as nature-based parks.
Commuting and travel is easy with plenty of major highways and thoroughfares connecting Teaneck to Manhattan, just minutes away, or the Lincoln Tunnel to Manhattan just 20 minutes away. Other Jewish communities are also close by, including Englewood, a well-established Jewish community just minutes away. Monsey, NY, is only 30 minutes to the North. A recent survey found Teaneck to be one of the easiest commutes to Manhattan by passenger vehicle or public transportation, busses, and rail service. Newark International Airport, a major US airport, is located just 30 minutes south of Teaneck by car.
