About this Job: Our client, an eCommerce company is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to lead the accounting/finance team in all aspects of the financial operations.

The CFO will lead a finance team and be responsible for every facet of the company finances including accounts payable and receivable, cash management, financial statements, end-of-month and yearly closings and reconciliations, financial reporting and analytics, taxes, and cost savings.

The responsibility of the CFO includes elevating the Finance team, automating A/P A/R processes, and improving financial reporting and analytics capabilities. 

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization against term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
• Identify, acquire, and implement systems and software to provide critical financial and operational information.
• Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company’s plans.
• Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by business unit, forecast vs. budget, and weekly cash flow.
• Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and overhead cost allocation.
• Oversee cash management.
• Oversee accounting and AP AR Department
• Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations
• Develop and maintain a monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget.
• Create/lead financial planning and analysis department.
• Review and ensure the application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial procedures.
• Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state, and federal tax returns.
• Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
• Represent the company to banks, financial partners, institutions, auditors, and officials.
• Utilize modeling and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight.
• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team.

Skills:

• 5 years minimum experience as a CFO, in the e-commerce industry, is a plus.
• Background coordinating with I.T. staff to manage and/or upgrade the accounting system. Systems implementation experience is strongly preferred.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and teamwork – and ability to motivate staff.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

About this Job: Our client, a successful eCommerce company, is seeking a highly capable and dynamic Director of eCommerce to develop and execute the company's eCommerce strategy in order to expand eCommerce sales and growth into other territories such as the EU and UK.

The ideal candidate must have exceptional leadership skills, strong strategic planning skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving the customer experience in an eCommerce environment.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the eCommerce team and overseeing website development, customer acquisition, conversion optimization, and customer retention.
• Oversee teams strategy on amazon accounts management, listings, product photography, optimization, keyword research, marketing (amazon PPC), DTC websites, and digital marketing strategy (including google ads, email marketing, social media marketing, etc.)

• Analyzing customer data to identify trends and opportunities to improve the online shopping experience and consistently undertake content audits and benchmarks of best practices to improve the eCommerce sites' performance and visibility.

• Understanding and executing best practices for A+ page optimization to increase sell-through can help to generate sales and increase product category rankings..

Qualifications:

• 5+ yrs demonstrated success in managing an eCommerce website and handling multi-eCommerce sites in a high-performing retail eCommerce environment.
• Expertise in selling private label brands and products through an eCommerce environment, as well as experience in purchasing, sourcing, and vendor relations, is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate experience in research and strategy planning to stay on top of all eCommerce's latest trends and new initiatives that are driving revenue growth and improving the customer experience in an eCommerce environment.
• Knowledge of brand analytics tools, content management systems, UX drivers, SEO, PPC, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Brand Management, etc.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define, leverage, and implement customer-centric initiatives.
• Team-oriented with the ability to effectively collaborate with partners across the organization at all levels and the ability to negotiate and influence peers and members of cross-functional teams.
